I think you're looking at it backwards. To even have a chance of making it on Trump's long list (much less his short list), credentials must be impeccable. Both these women (and any other candidate under consideration) more than merit the opportunity.

I don't disagree with that, but have you heard about how ACB ruled in favor of IL governor Pritzger allowing BLM protests and keeping churches closed? When the church really needed her, she turned her back on it and went for that virtue signal instead. I've also heard she's pretty lax on immigration. Last thing we need is another Roberts.

There is no evidence that she is lax on immigration. That rumor comes from a bunch of retards who see that she adopted two kids from Hati and go “seeee!! She totally wants open borders!!!!”

The favoring gatherings for BLM terrorists while allowing churches to be closes is real though.

This coming from someone who thinks she would be a worthy Justice

Gonna need a source on it. I don’t think people are making that one up but I want to verify.

Unfortunately legal decisions dont always go the way you want them too. Sometimes we are wrong. Sometimes the justice is wrong. Sometimes the law is written wrong and the judges hands are tied.

Judges interpret law not write them. We wouldn't want someone who just decides what a law says based on the outcome they want.

I think it's because speed is essential and will be harder to delay confirmation of a candidate who's not white or male.

We have the votes in the senate with Pence being the tiebreaker. There's literally nothing the dems could do to stop the confirmation.

Its not about just the confirmation, it’s about speed

Is it because of the experience with Kavanaugh?

Very misogynistic to think a woman cannot sexually assault someone.

Also because there isn't a conservative woman on the court right now. Also because male/female is not the same as other identity politics. Women make up half the country and half of voters. They will demand representation on the court.

Didn't the Cuban ones dad get appointed by Bill Clinton? And wasn't she also hand picked by Jeb Bush when he was governor of Florida?

Smells kinda swampy to me.

To be fair, every federal judge up until this point will have some ties to the swamp. Trump needs to shift through them to find the least swampy and compromised.
