10mm is such an underrated round. Plus ammo is still available. Only downsides I can see are over penetration and high recoil but naturally those issues can be mitigated with adequate training.
Got my eye on a Glock 20 as well as that Rock Island 1911 double stack. Might pull the trigger on one next week (pun intended). :)
I have a two of them. $400-500 when I bought. Holds 15 I think then 1 in chamber. That's a lot of rounds. I guy I bought it from used it for bears when he was in Alaska.

Get the eaa tanfoglio witness 10mm if the your worried about recoil.

I own both. The RAI is really sweet and I enjoy shooting it. It helps to have large hands with the double stack.
Thankfully, I do have rather large hands. :)
