That was the myth at the beginning. The facts are that Breonna Taylor was involved in her ex-boyfriend’s drug business and was the named subject of the search warrant the police executed.
She also wasn’t “killed in her bed.” She and her current boyfriend heard the knocking at the door and got out of bed to see who it was. When the cops hit the door, the boyfriend shot. The cops returned fire.
I also think it’s funny we haven’t seen a “current” photo of Breonna. We’ve seen her EMT graduation photo a million times, but it’s my understanding she wasn’t even an EMT anymore. So I’m guessing she didn’t look as wholesome at the time of her death as she did back then.
My understanding is she was kicked out of her EMT job for furnishing rental cars to drug dealers. I really need to get current on this case. The narrative of "innocent female POC shot for no reason in her own home" is clearly bogus.
