In a time when Lee gets slandered so often, I love to read this letter from Dwight Eisenhower defending Robert E. Lee. Eisenhower was a man of faith and a gifted leader who came when his country and the world needed him most. When most people say "It takes one to know one" as an insult, here a tremendous leader acknowledges another.
