I also had quite a few friends where we all bonded during baseball season. I told them at the beginning that I would be bowing out this season. They were planning on doing the same anyway. We also still talk baseball, but it's in a more historical context now. Like, "Name the top 10 shortstops of the 80s" or "Name 10 guys who shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame."
