"The daughter of parents who fled from Cuba following the Revolution and the assumption of power by Fidel Castro" and "was one of a dozen mostly pro bono lawyers who represented the Miami family of Elián González" (fighting to keep young Elian from being shipped back to Cuba), giving her a very strong Anti-Communist pedigree.

2) Allison Jones Rushing - Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit

Late 30s, born in North Carolina. Appointed to her current position by Trump. Former law student intern with Alliance Defending Freedom, giving her a strong record on religious freedom. Has connection to two current Supreme Court justices - Neil Gorsuch, who she clerked for while Gorsuch was a Judge on the 10th Circuit; She also clerked for Associate Justice Clarence Thomas during the 2010-2011 session. Member of the Federalist Society since 2012.

3) Kate Comerford Todd - Deputy White House Counsel to President Donald Trump

45, born in Indiana. Former law clerk to Associate Justice Clarence Thomas. Current member of the Federalist Society, and in her current position "... she focuses on judicial nominations." And, of course, the fact that she's currently part of President Trump's larger legal team.
