I’m with her.

Just on this one particular and specific issue though.

The long game: Following the constitution, having morals, and wanting what's best for America.

Why play the long game when your supporters only have a short term memory? And even if they do remember, they really don't care.

This is it exactly. They can count on low info voters. Its why Pelosi can tell people to come on down to Chinatown, then later blame trump for not doing enough. Its bizzaro-world, but it works on dummies.

I always used to think they just targeted the young voters because young people who never paid attention to politics before can be tricked easily, since they never saw what works and what doesn't before. But turns out it is really people with long term memory loss, Trump wanted immediately to take action and they called him a racist for it and block it, then they go and say he did not do enough.

They are the ones who did not do enough.

Sadly, they do play the long game, which is why we're in the trouble we're in now.

But sometimes they fuck up.

Honestly I think it's more that we fuck up because we try to reason with unreasonable people

Lol the hypocrisy never ends. You'll never read this in the msm. They just rely on the public having short memories

Didn't Biden also push for the exact same thing in this situation?

I'm looking for but I can't find it. Can a peed help me out I've made a compilation of links where all of the prominent Democrats pushed to fill a seat in an election year

In 1992 Biden argued that GHW Bush should NOT nominate to fill a SCOTUS vacancy during election season. This was back when most nominees were easily confirmed (except Bork and Thomas, thanks to Biden). And the Dems held the Senate at that time and Biden was head of Senate Judiciary.

https://www.nytimes.com/video/us/politics/100000004226428/biden-in-1992-on-supreme-court-vacancy.html

In 2016 as VP, Biden said (paraphrasing) "oh I never had a rule, there's no such rule, the president should totally get a vote on his nomination."

https://www.newsweek.com/biden-2016-president-has-constitutional-duty-nominate-supreme-court-justice-even-months-1533106

"I made it absolutely clear that I would go forward with a confirmation process as [Senate Judiciary] chairman, even a few months before a presidential election, if the nominee were chosen with the advice, and not merely the consent, of the Senate, just as the Constitution requires," Biden told attendees of a Georgetown Law School event in 2016.

"The Senate will need to fulfill its constitutional responsibility by considering, debating and voting on that nominee," the then-vice president wrote in the March 2016 Times op-ed

Well, not a traditional long game...their idea of a long came is copying and pasting the same text from bill to bill until they get it by concession, super majority, or unilaterally though some other bullshit...

...then making it nearly impossible to remove and defending it at the cost of millions of dollars in litigation and legal defenses at the cost to tax payer who want it removed...

Either way, fuck them. No more acquiescence.

They sure played the long game with infiltrating the schools and colleges .

Dems have been playing the long game for 50 years, which is why we’re here. Unfortunately they never envisioned someone like DRVSGGEOTUS getting elected. Mainstream republicans deserve the cuck shed, or worse. I always say that both parties are two separate wings of the same dirty bird. Where the fuck have you been

Dems never play the long game

Explain their immigration policy then.

They infected all levels of education back in the 50s, probably earlier really, 50s is when we got the flood of commies from europe though.

That's a looooong game, and they're winning. We're waking up but it's very late in the psychological war.

Yet another reason they would be bad against China. China mostly plans years to decades ahead.

Now do Mitch and Lindsey. All politicians are stupid and can't think about what happens if the tables were turned. They simply play politics and then it comes back to bite them in the ads.
