This is a good point. I had a conversation with my leftist dentist last week. The conversation lead to my saying if I had his money I would burn mine. I retired early . Not wealthy but comfortable. He told me he was never going to be able to retire, that he would be working till he is at least 75. I said don’t you have an advisor? He said yeah but I don’t listen to him. 🙄
Lmfao... I listened to Dave Ramsey growing up, and taught me so much about wealth management, I could retire at 50. Not going to though. I worked in a pawn shop before college, and damn was that a life experience. Gold and diamonds are 3-5X what youd pay retail. My ex-wifes ring cost 6k and appraised for 18k. People scoff and say "everything in a pawnshop is fake". I dont even bother exlaing how that makes no sense equity wise, let alone we acid/laser tested every piece of jewelry that came through the door.
