Did they stop or are we just protesting by ignoring the shutdown orders? If Im not wrong, I think it is only blue areas still shut down, red areas are pretty much open full swing which is where most of the protests initially happened. I live in a heavily blue area but even in my office nobody wears a mask inside anymore even though it is mandated, and I see more and more business not really giving a fuck about restrictions.

I hate how the fake news reports it. They say we're "approaching the grim milestone of 200k dead from coronavirus," knowing damn well that the statistic is actually recorded as dead "with" COVID. Meaning "if you die and you have a positive or even presumed COVID infection, you're recorded as a death with COVID."
If you die in a motorcycle crash but had a positive coronavirus test, you're a death with COVID.
If you die from cancer but you had a positive coronavirus test, you're a death with COVID.
If your IQ is above room temperature, you can see how this paints an inflated picture. Yet the media uses it to imply that coronavirus by itself has killed 200,000 Americans.

We also had a second cousin of mine, Moms 1st cousin, that died from complications from covid, but she also had lupus and a host of other stuff that meant that she didn't stand much of a chance once she got it. She's actually the youngest covid death in my entire county at 48 years old. By far the youngest.

I would say for the average person it's just like the flu, but with some very strange symptoms thrown in there too, more than just the normal whole body soreness like you feel with the flu. Also It seems like some of the symptoms can last on and off for a few weeks.

I teach. We've been in school, AT school, since 8/17. We still haven't had a single case at my school. My district has had exactly 1 single SUSPECTED case, but the student was never tested and just did home learning for 2 weeks. The apocalypse of student deaths never happened. We have several older teachers that have a myriad of health issues, and they all come to work everyday.
