Big state, small police force. Lots of places to hide. But I'd be willing to bet there's a lot of large cities with more wanted felons running around than up here. I don't know what this dudes problem is.

Alaska State Troopers! Most of the episodes I saw, they were arresting drunk natives or someone from the lower 48 hiding out there.
