My county issues a CCW stamped "sport target" but it is essentially unrestricted as those are not terms in the state laws. You either have a CCW permit or you don't. Furthmore I was told by a local gun shop the judge will remove the BS restriction after 2 years of I submit my request.
Hopefully you went far enough north to get a chance at an unrestricted CCW.
