Friend, I'd like to counter that the ARE human. They've come to a fork in the road, as we all do, and chosen a wide, dark path. Every choice has consequences.
Being human is much more than what biology gives us.
We have to strive to overcome and transcend the animal instincts and behaviors baked into our genes.
When they reached that fork in the road, they chose not to strive, and in doing so, they abdicated their responsibility to be human. We cannot coexist peacefully.
