The media tries to refute some of this, typically the 12 year old thing and one not mentioned above (that she was surprised the Court didn’t allow/require federal abortion funding because there were populations “we don’t” want more of).
Every refutation acknowledges the fucked up allegation is true, says not to believe our eyes and ears (she used the 12 year old stuff as a model rape statute because it was gender neutral, not b/c of the age; she meant poor people, not black people), and says she’s awesome.
