yep, the guy who was attacked at his place of business, knocked down and beaten managed to fire two warning shots from his gun to scare off his attackers, was subsequently attacked again while on the ground by someone else much stupider and choked, told the attacker to let him go multiple times, and was forced to blind fire over his shoulder into his attacker who died. It wasn't the DA, he declined any charge and stared self defense, it was special appointment Frederick Franklin appointed by judge Shelley Stratman. Part of the investigation was interviewing something like 60 witnesses. Who was out at 1 am in the streets of a shut down city near this guys bar? Normal people? No, antifa/BLM rioters. This guys 4 charges were based on mob justice from a special appointment because the DA refused to charge him based on actual evidence.

These people obviously don't realize a warrant doesn't automatically mean a team of cops goes and makes an arrest. And no this isn't justice, he never should have been charged. He must have felt that this had already cost him everything and that he was not going to sit in jail, get run-through the wringer, like Kyle is. He was a ruined man and was not going to live through the media circus to his detriment. He took the "easy" way out. Our kafkaesque court system and the identity politics did this to him. While I don't agree with him, I can understand why he would not want to live through all of the humiliation.

Everything was rigged against him. He was expecting $1mil bail to be set after he was supposed to turn himself in Monday, but his fundraiser thing got shut down.
He lost his business, was evicted from his home, constant death threats, it goes on and on like that. He had PTSD from his time in the military and had no hope of bail or having some semblance of a normal life recovered after a legal fight, so the mental stress got the best of him. Even if he "won" the legal battle, he wouldn't get his life back.
Because of his PTSD issue, I'm not entirely sure if I'm 100% on board with an assassination/execution theory over suicide, but it's out there anyway.
