Don't be duped, this was all according to plan...

Turning on their sock-puppet candidate buys them credibility if they do it right, which makes it easier for them to slip the real candidate in.

They're going to turn his teleprompter off, in the next few days. Not because they suddenly became decent and want to do the right thing and oppose the pedo warmonger. But because he was never the real candidate in the first place.

Who is the real candidate then? Hillary?

stonepony 79 points ago +79 / -0

Kamala.

And if you have a problem with that, if you think she should have gone through the primary process like anyone else, it's because you're racist and you hate women.

But ballots have went out in many states, how will they handle that?

stonepony 22 points ago +22 / -0

They needed ballots to go out. If voting wasn't already underway, then Bernie/Tulsi/Yang have the legitimate claim.

Too late to start it over now though. Has to be Kamala.

She did go through the primary process and the voters dismissed her entirely.

She runs the DNC tho. So she's always first in my mind. Until the election is done and over, I'll still think she's about to be swapped in. I'm not kidding.

They can bring Hillary after the elections, after people have voted for Biden.

Kamala is Mike's surrogate.

Remember Juicy lynched himself in order to get Kamala's bullshit anti-lynching bill passed?

Who called Chicago and pulled strings to have all the charges dropped? Mike's top personal aid, who also happened to be a relative of Juicy Smollet.

Coincidences though, all coincidences.

Agreed all except for according to plan. This was NOT the plan. They thought they could drag him across the finish line and did not expect his rapid decline and progression of his dementia. He was the most “electable” but watching him now I realize that they could not have picked a worse candidate. The fake Mexican or that Buttgay guy or my 9 year old daughter would’ve been better. At least they can all read a fucking teleprompter

He was always supposed to be a "transitional candidate". That was their own words.

Before the election or after the election, they knew he was ill and deteriorating. A deteriorating temp candidate gives them the excuse to anoint whomever they like, without them having to win through the primaries.

Before he steps down, you'll see the MSDNC start telling the truth about him. About his track record, and his condition. And they'll pretend they're telling the truth because they're good honest journalists. And you'll see posts like this one from the OP. Amazed to see CNN doing the right thing. etc.

There was no way that he was the most electable candidate. I firmly believe Sanders was the only real opposition to Trump, and that was due to his passion and consistency. Bootygay (or whatever is name was) was a close second, but he was so fake that he would've easily been obliterated by Trump. The dems knew this as well, which is why they cheated Sanders out of the nomination twice.

They panicked and pushed Biden through when they saw Sanders winning early on. I don't think they expected his mental decline to happen so quickly, though. I laughed when the media tried to push him through as the "most electable." As if swing voters will choose for this piece of wet cardboard over the high energy Trump.

Yep. Bernie won the first three primaries - Biden finished fourth in Iowa, and an embarrassing FIFTH in New Hampshire. He was all but finished. How can you be a serious candidate when a blue state prefers four other people ahead of you?

Then the DNC had an emergency meeting, got all the smaller candidates - Buttigieg, Harris and co. to drop out and support Biden. And miraculously, Biden started winning (though Bernie still won CA). Bernie should be fucking livid and ought to be running as a third party to screw them. They've done it to him twice now! At his age, what does he have to lose?

Sanders is no longer principled, assuming he ever was. He sold out.

Italians_Invented_2A 5 points ago +5 / -0

The fact that Bernie was popular among Democrats does not mean he has more chances than Biden in a general election.

Someone who calls himself a socialist is still difficult to elect for Independent voters, let alone Republicans that they are trying to win over.

I genuinely believe Biden was the best candidate they had, by far.

And to answer the previous poster, blacks and hispanics wouldn't vote for a homo.

One of the other 4 progressives was more electable than him and Kamala. Biden/Kamala is the 'bury all the crap we did since 2008' candidate. I do not see someone like Sanders going to bat for them too much. They could not control him. Biden they can, he has always been a party man. It became pretty clear months ago Biden is not all there. So they are planing to 25th him. Ginsberg ending up in hospice a few weeks ago changes the whole thing with the cheat they want to pull. They may need to change it up a bit and switch out who the primary candidate is. But that will cause a shitstorm with the green party and West. and rightfully so. Never mind what the RNC would do too. Switchout is too late at this point. 25th amendment is their plan they are committed to it wither they like it or not.

If, and it's a big IF at this point (although I was leaning towards it being likely earlier) they are planning to switch out candidates, then they are cornholing themselves with frozen porcupines every day they wait.

Some people have already voted. Most for Joe, (Real Americans do their best to follow the constitution and vote on Nov 3, military and old/sick/infirm should all get absentee ballots) and every single day, more of those ballots get cast/sent in with Joe's name. Mass mail in ballots are already printed with Joe's name, regular ballots also already printed.

So as we tick, tick, tick closer to election day, more and more dem votes get wasted. And there are fewer and fewer opportunities to reprint and send new ballots out to those who haven't voted yet, leaving "write in" as the only option. Good fucking luck getting THAT done on a large scale.

I'm not saying it's impossible he'll be switched out at this point, but it's getting more and more unlikely by the day.

stonepony 4 points ago +4 / -0

I think you're looking at it the wrong way.

Notice Biden and Kamala have both referred to it as a Kamala/Biden ticket?

It only works if the switch takes place after the election, or after the voting is significantly underway.

Otherwise, Bernie/Tulsi/Yang get swapped in.

They're already good. They're already set. Biden can fuck off at any moment, and Kamala will take over, because she's a strong female POC, and she'll pick a new VP and all the votes already cast are for Kamala.

stonepony 3 points ago +3 / -0

Teleprompter failure will be the big tell. IMO.

Or it will be an MSDNC "journalist" with an off-script curve-ball question that they weren't supposed to ask. They'll tell Joe it was a communications snafu and there was a mix up with the pre-approved questions.

Behind the scenes, before the big teleprompter oopsie or the unexpected question, Joe's doctors will dial back his cocktail of make-Joe-lucid drugs.

I keep saying this: it doesn't matter what the ballot says because the American people do not vote for the person of the President.
