If they switch in a miracle candidate (M.Obama, Oprah, Hillary, Bernie) they'll want to wait and bank on star power with little response from GOP. If they want Biden to be considered resigned day 1, they'll want GEOTUS chewing on Biden's carcass instead of Kamala who has to face off against a less threatening Pence on stage. I consider that the more likely situation.
Pence will destroy Kamala too, just like he destroyed Tim Kaine. Remember in their debate when Pence asked Kaine a question that if Kaine had answered, it would out both him and Hillary as criminals and Kaine instantly started sweating and had to beg the moderator to change the subject?
