Not asking for what you want to happen. Let's get a real survey here. Will it happen?

Interesting response. So, how does Collins/Murk/Mittens affect it?

The all don’t want a vote but at least 2 will vote yes. I am not even worried about any of it

If it is just those three it won't matter. That's still 50 votes with Pence breaking the tie.

Yes. Republicans want to keep in power. The team that's winning doesn't just stop playing with a couple minutes on the clock.

That's a YES from me, Dawg.

Trump wouldn't be suggesting it, if he didn't think it would happen.

Yes.

Yes. They have the Senate, wafflers will cave, Pence casts deciding vote.

Needs to be done w/o Pence.

Will be done one way or another

Interesting. Layout scenario?

President nominates SCOTUS candidate, McConnell lifts his head from pile of cocaine and calls for vote this week, TV shit storm ensues, the vote is held, the nominee is confirmed. I expect Murkowski (R - XOM) to dissent, maybe Collins, but not more than 3. If 3 dissent (not likely I think), Pence casts the deciding vote.

In your scenario the Senator from Utah will be the difference between a tie breaker and majority.

Entirely possible.

On another note: UTAH do something w/ that rogue senator!

Yes! Trump has finally taught them to come to the party and fight.

Dare to dream. Too many are gutless.

But I hope the Yes is correct.

Yes

Yes. A 4-4 USSC judgment on the upcoming election would be 100% guaranteed chaos, and every senator knows it very well may come to that. Other than the shitty 3, it's all Rs onboard. Likely of those three, one will vote yes if it's also a woman nom.

What I find interesting here is that every respondent to this question legitimately has answered yes thus far.

Either it's an obvious answer, or we're all blind to something. I was less certain about Kavanaugh, but that played out well. Here's to hoping.
