His lawyer said that jake hired a body guard for the return trip to Omaha because of all the death threats he and his family were receiving. Who hires a body guard if they are thinking about killing themselves?

I asked questions about this hours earlier on here, like about what proof it actually was suicide. Haven't seen any pundits or Twitter right wing celebs say it yet.

After they realized it would look fishy if they killed Kyle while in custody, they immediately started paperwork to move him to another state.
In Gardener's case he was not jailed, but released on his own recognizance. I submit to you, that was a strategic decision and intentional. Easier to keep their own hands clean that way.
