I was reading a self-help book about time management that just happened to be Christian themed, The Ruthless Elimination of Hustle. Anyways the author keep going off on TDS fueled rants and praising minimalism. I got the vibe that the writer, who was a preacher, was a bug man. The biggest clue was his Church was in Portland. I think he even started to talk about socialism and eating the rich despite being a mega church pastor.
Female asst. Pastor is a dead give away that while Evangelical (Lausanne Covenant as their faith statement) on paper, this church is liberal in reality. That should have been the first warning sign.

What’s his name? I lived there for eleven years and attended a large Christian church. The pastor was no socialist!!
