So i became friends with a guy, phil, and eventually found he was a hardcore batshit lefty, which pretty much cooled me off to him. He’d bring up some headline he just saw on cnn, or something he saw on facebook, and wanto engage me that orange man bad. So I’d shut him down with some facts and stuff. So i meet his neighbor, devin, who was totally apolitical, but married to a moderate democrat with tds. Smart guy, just didnt really give a shit about politics, but it was obvious that phil was talking politics with him because he’d say how much phil hates trump. Over the next few years, any two of us would be together or all three, and phil would always bring something up, usually bring up the stock market, and then blaming trump when it went down, or how trump was screwing us if it went up, typical illogical stuff. I’d shut him down with actual facts.

As it turned out devin and i became a lot closer, and occasionally he’d bring something up about trump or politics and we’d have a conversation about it, mostly me asking what he thinks, and maybe providing sources to any assertions i made. Early on, he told me he’d never voted, and had no intentions to because his vote didnt matter. Didnt matter to me, we are friends whether he votes or not, i just said, “you really ought to”, and that local elections can be won and lost on a few votes, and that local elections are probably more important to you anyway. We never broached that topic again, i never pushed him, belittled him, acted superior or anything else.

Devin and i rarely talked politics until the covid hoax started. It was funny, the three of us were sitting there one day at the very beginning and i said “its a hoax and its gonna blow over in three weeks”. Boy was i wrong on that, but anyway, devin was able to process all the absurdities of the covid response, and even though he greatly benefitted from it, He realized it was nothing but a hoax to hurt trump.

Fast forward to yesterday. Devin tells me he has registered to vote, hes pushing 40, and never voted! My only response was “good for you, theres lots of people like you”. We have a trump rally nearby in the coming days, im gonna take him to that. He will be voting republican for the next 40 years!

So, hes not the only one i know of who has been redpilled by facts and logic, ive seen a few others in my circle, some even lifelong democrats, who i know will be voting trump, even though they would never admit it. Im not saying I’ve converted anyone, but I’d say I’ve probably redpilled 5-7 people since 2016. And the key talking points that did it, were covid, the economy/market, and blm/antifa. Theres not been a period in my life where i have seen this many people re evaluate their politics, and it is an insignificant sample size to draw conclusions from, but i have to imagine you all have similar stories. The bottom line here is, democrats did this to themselves.

This is why the dnc Hail Mary play is to try and steal it. Anyone else share some similar stories?

Thanks! Im not someone who interacts with a lot of people so if i can multiply my vote anyone can do it! I had lots of practice in the 20+ years it took to convert my wife! But she came from a hardcore lefty family, her mom was the governor’s secretary, and a superdelegate. Whole family has tds, she struggles to keep a relationship with them.

Excellent work, fren. I've been working to win over middles and disaffected liberals while demoralizing leftists. Every time a leftie goes nuts on a normie, it plants a seed that can be nurtured.

Yep, its the way to make a real difference. If every republican only converted one, we would double our vote
