HERE, HERE!

I don’t think Trump should fill that seat. Not just now, but ever. After 27 years, a chair conforms to one ass and it’s uncomfortable for anyone else to sit on. Surely we can afford a brand new seat for a brand new justice!

Its going to go to that Cuban woman.

That will totally seal the FL electoral college win, which will seal the election.

And to make sure that is a useful tool to make that happen, the full Senate floor vote wont be before Nov 3rd. Before the 3rd maybe we get a judiciary committee vote, just for appearances.

And AFTER the election, yes, she WILL be confirmed, we have the votes, no matter how the election actually goes.

For optimal political strategy, it has to be her (Barbara), and the full vote has to be AFTER the election, but preferably before inauguration, and if necessary very quickly after in case we need her vote for the electoral fraud shenanigans.

The globalist left is FUCKED. It really is checkmate, there is nothing they CAN do beyond scams, frauds, riots, impeachments - thats the limit of what they can do, shout and scream in concert with the media allies. With SCOTUS on our side they cant further their agenda any longer through courts, we have executive, and they have a majority in legislative only because those people are still puppets of the money interests. If the public ever wakes up AND beats the built in and engineered fraud and takes back the House (and keeps the Senate), we would be in for a gilded age, just as Scott Adams has been saying.

Unfortunate that we can no longer rely on just waking up the public. Now we have to wake them up to the reality of the system AND beat the fraud walls that the system has created just for this failsafe in case we DID ever wake up.

WRONG.

Political suicide. If you do that, :

  1. it isnt physically possible just based on available time. Remember there have to be 2 sets of hearings (Judiciary committee then full floor) and Dems will pull every stunt in the book to delay. We literally CANNOT make that timeline.

  2. in terms of political strategy it is stupid. All we want before the election is the NOMINATION, so the PERSON nominated is part of the voting process. And if the nominee is Barbara, we get the push for her from the cubans in FL and we WIN FL. This is KEY.

If we do that and complete it before the election, we DONT get that FL cubans push, instead, we get the backlash from lefties in Senate races that are tough. Bye bye Corey Gardner and some others in tight races.

The timing is one of whether we USE this nominee as a tool for OUR benefit or allow the lefties to use it as an electoral tool for their benefit.

The result will be the same. We get the nominee confirmed either way, and she can just as easily be confirmed a week after the election.

If 42 days was good enough to confirm Justice Ginsburg, it is good enough to confirm her successor.

-3
KAG4EVRodysseus11 -3 points ago +1 / -4

it is the WRONG strategy to pursue that.

We would LOSE control of the Senate. And for WHAT? We get the nominee confirmed a few weeks later anyway, and will still have the new justice available for post-election shenanigans..

We have literally nothing to gain and everything to lose. Think tactically.

There were a lot of Republicans like you in the past before Trump.

Do you have any idea how demoralizing to the average voter it would be if McConnell gave the decision to the Democrats? What was the point of even voting Republican in 2016 and 2018 if all we got for it would be Democrat policies on the most important issues like Supreme Court vacancies?

-2
KAG4EVRodysseus11 -2 points ago +1 / -3

Hey, dumb dumb. Dont say stupid shit like "republicans like you". You dont know your ass from your elbow. I was MAGA before you were out of diapers.

I was not saying "give the decision to the Democrats".

I can see we are now being brigaded by concern trolls that are intent on trying to confuse what is a simple strategy issue. And you seem to be one of them.

This is not rocket science.

NOMINATE THE FL CUBAN WOMAN NOW. GET HER THRU JUDICIARY BEFORE THE ELECTION. THIS WAY HER CONFIRMATION BY THE FULL FLOOR IS AN ELECTION ISSUE. DOING IT THAT WAY BOOSTS US IN THE ELECTION, MOST IMPORTANTLY SEALING UP FL

That is the smart way to do it, timing wise. We get a MAGA SCOTUS justice confirmed either way, its just that if Trump listens to some of you idiots we give away that strategy value and give them the advantage of punishing GOP Senators in the election instead, which would cost us in close races - we CANNOT afford to lose control of the senate.

The only issue here is the timing of the full final floor vote. A few days AFTER the election will have no negative effect over a few days BEFORE it, and brings massive benefits. Use your brain. This is why the left always wins, they have complex long-term multi-angled strategy that they execute, while you are being mindless idiots and screeching about 1776.

Republicans like you who seek external validation from outside the Republican base instead of following your core beliefs. Like McCain condemning one of his own voters. Like Romney wearing blue jeans for the news media. Tell me, how many times did you say "We're better than that!" during the 2016 campaign? Was Trump your first choice? Or was it Jeb?

I'll repeat a 3rd time - you clearly know very little about the current elections.

The Presidential race isnt the only one that matters.

We CANNOT lose control of the Senate. And there are several races way too close to call that could cause us to lose it.

If you just act STRATEGICALLY (or, as Bush would say, use strategery), we get our justice AND use the nominee as a political advantage tool too (which would cement the FL cubans, which seals the election) including HELPING our Senate races. Rather than push forward at lightning speed, which may or may not be possible to complete anyway, and give the Dems an election talking point that could kill us in those close Senate races.

You are being emotional and not thinking straight. We have elections to win in order to be ABLE to fix everything else.

We didn’t vote for Trump to be president for 3 years 9 months. We voted for 4 years and will vote for another 4 years!

Also, Ginsburg, Obama, Clinton (Hillary), and Schumer have ALL said it’s the duty of the president to nominate a judge no matter whether it’s an election year.

Well, the Senate was made important to the elections, and now Americans cannot ignore those races.

The SCOTUS seats do not belong to the political parties, nor to the MOB - they belong to the electorate.

With one passing, Trump has been handed the penultimate in campaign leverage. NAME THE SUCCESSOR!!!

Democrats have NO CHOICE but to continue their death spiral of psychotic rage.

Should the Democrats behave and pass the candidate without Kavanaugh'ing her, Democrats can expect to lose every election issue coming before the SCOTUS. Ballot harvesting will be gone.

Landslide = Trump.

Should the Democrats do as expected and create the world's largest temper tantrum in the Senate, Trump gets to show America on live TV why Democrats cannot be trusted ACROSS THE BOARD - even in local races. The resulting shit-show will exhaust an American electorate that is tired of the bully belligerence of the Left.

Landslide = Trump.

The Globalists really overplayed their hand, and demonstrated in real time why they cannot be entrusted with the governance of ordinary people, ever and wherever.

ModernKnight 4 points ago +4 / -0

Just as importantly, they voted for the senators who confirm that seat. In 2016 the Dems had one, Republicans had the other, thus the impasse. Not this year. And thanks to Ried, we just need a simple majority. Or even a tie, with Pence.

As Justice Roberts said - there are no Trump judges or Obama judges.

Long ago -- probably back in the Seventies -- I heard some MSM talking head describing the Supreme Court. One of the seats he described as "the Jewish seat." Another as "the woman's seat." And yet another as "the black seat."

Seeing as we now seem to have a "hispanic seat," I wonder if it isn't time to remind all concerned that the Supreme Court was never defined by the Constitution as being divided up along identity-group lines. Its purpose is to interpret and apply Constitutional law, not dole it out to affirmative-action constituencies.

4
Furaffinitydotnet 4 points ago +4 / -0

The Constitution also did not define the Supreme Court as a workaround to amending the Constitution.

AND the American people kept republicans in the majority of the senate in 2016, then expanded the republican majority in the senate in the 2018 midterms. The people have spoken.

1
DonutDog 1 point ago +1 / -0

I believe Obama should have filled Scalia's seat in 2016. And I believe Trump should fill RBG's seat in 2020. It's the sitting president's responsibility to appoint SCOTUS Justices. Fill that seat!

1
SikoraP13 1 point ago +1 / -0

Fill it like it was Kamala trying to climb the political ladder.

1
unspecified_user 1 point ago +1 / -0

Let's give them the consequences of the elections they love talking about.

1
Gregorina 1 point ago +1 / -0

they didn't just vote for trump. they also voted to ADD republican seats in the senate. the people most definitely want trump to fill it.

If the people didn't want trump to fill it, they would have voted to remove republican seats in the senate. that's the difference when obama was president.

CHECKS AND BALANCES BABY

1
WryProtagonist 1 point ago +1 / -0

The People voted for a Republican Senate and a Republican President. Fill the seat. That's it.
