The popes infallibility is known as an “ex Cathedra” ruling on faith and morals and that has only been exercised one time in 2,000+ years. So that isn’t a concern.

The pope had very little to do with the Baltimore Catechism - so I am not sure what you have been told.

Make no mistake, I am not trying to insinuate that she is perfect - no nominee is, but the level of irrational hate she is getting on this site screams that there is an agenda being pushed by certain folks to derail her or poison us against Trump. It is only further illustrated by the fact that very few have argued with facts about their stance regarding her - most are just furiously angry over something they can’t quantify.

I look forward to your response.

Wow word salad. I will keep my response brief (or at least briefer than yours).

The previous poster equated “Papal law” with “The Baltimore catechism”, which is what the discussion was about, not the recently published full a Catholic Catechism, which is a wholly different compendium. Please try to pay attention to what you read before writing a huge dissertation making you look like an idiot.

Secondly I have been an orthodox catholic for 47 years that studied at Christendom College and have been very active in my study of Catholic history and theology. So while you “have relatives that are best buddies with the pope” or whatever, I personally have studied the aforementioned information and frankly debate it daily with my fellow “Catholics” who choose to be lukewarm and vote democrat.

As far as the ACB debate, I was attempting to stimulate discussion surrounding the seemingly irrational hatred she was garnering - and as is typical, most people could not tell me why they hated her, but simply that they did (with a few exceptions). Honestly it was reminiscent of leftists saying they “hate Trump” but could not cite a single policy as to why.

When you find your “perfect nominee”, please do let me know.

Edit: here is a story with a link to two cases where Barrett was asked for a stay of execution in a capital punishment case and she refused the stay both times, allowing the execution to continue - that should be a sufficient reputation of her “I’ll recuse myself!!!” argument.

Thanks, but I have two copies of the full Catechism at home and about 8 copies of the Baltimore catechism that I use to homeschool my 8 children in the faith. So you could say I have been through it more than a few times.

Tell me, what is our purpose in life?

Edit: there is Canon Law - papal law sounds like a protestant term...
