According to what I heard, he had an old brain injury and was not handling this situation well. He had already lost everything and was receiving death threats from BLM. Seems to me the pressure got to him.

If there was even a question about whether he killed himself or was murdered, I'm sure his lawyer wouldn't have confirmed that it was suicide.
