if the virus is truly airborne, masks that aren’t rated to protect against airborne viruses (read: everything outside of virology labs and operating rooms) are 1000% useless, no further discussion can be had about it
if masks are useless, then there’s no science behind mandating people wear them, so the mandates are based on something other than protecting health
