It's absurdly hard to prosecute RICO. It's almost always simpler to just charge some manner of ordinary criminal conspiracy.

Judges have standing RICO orders that require you to specify the arcane and difficult legal particulars that RICO charges require.

But I hear you, I'd like to see some of them successfully prosecuted that way, too. It's just full of stuff that allows your case to get tossed on a technicality, though.
