I haven't wasted a single second on those worthless rapist-supporting pieces of woke shit, and I won't ever again. Sundays have been much nicer. I've been watching less and less over the past few years as the game turned into woke-ball, but obviously this off-season was the final nail in the coffin for me.

Do I get bonus points on never having watch NFL in my life?

On the other hand i used to watch hockey. but their BLM bullshit has turned me off of them now.

bigdickhangsright 16 points ago +20 / -4

I get this sentiment but while sportsball might be seen as a waste of time there truly isn't much that can unify people like it. So while sports really aren't my thing I do get excited to see the home team doing well because it brings people together. The flag and sports brought people together. The left really does hate people to be happy and destroys everything it touches.

Make colby covington your home team

AllDemsAreBad 9 points ago +9 / -0

That's why I liked going to watch games in person. Especially hockey. not sure about other leagues, but my team honors a veteran every game. makes them stand up and everyone applauds him/her

2
ProudWhiteMan 2 points ago +2 / -0

In the near future they'll ask black people to stand up then: "alright crackers, y'know what to do. Kneel before black culture and supremacy because without them our cotton would've been unpicked and there wouldn't have been an industrial revolution."

I’m watching local HS football every Friday night. Wayyyy more entertaining.

3
BluestedSRT 3 points ago +6 / -3

I don't understand the "Home Team" mentality in professional sports. Players are bought and traded from all over the world, they will play for whoever pays them the most. If a team was made up all locals then I'd get it, but if one year the player is playing for a rival team and the next he's playing for your local team, whats to be proud of? Our team has more money and can buy better players than your team, so haha you suck.

1
Felteair 1 point ago +1 / -0

Salary caps are a thing where a team can only spend so much on player salaries and players who've been in the league longer have a higher minimum salary to combat that specific ability to just buy the best team.

It's a community bonding thing. Like a pot luck dinner with competition attached. At first it doesn't matter so much who is batting the ball but with time you come to like them and want them to succeed. They are gladiators and representatives of your city or college or neighborhood.

I’m in Minnesota. Our home teams unify us in frustration. How can MN be the State of Hockey and have yet to win a Stanley Cup? I always watch my own kids play sports these days. Paid athletes suck around here.

I had to stop watching my Phila Flyers once their Gritty SJW mascot came on the scene a few years ago

5
AllDemsAreBad 5 points ago +5 / -0

LMAO, everyone should be ashamed of that mascot when it came out. sorry man

Wouldn't have missed a televised game prior to the kneeling controversy. Last year, I felt like the NFL was coming around and started watching a little again. No more. Will not be watching again until the NFL fully apologizes and changes their entire policy regarding Americanism. I do not expect them to do this, so I started watching MMA fighting.

12
Slick_Willy 12 points ago +12 / -0

20+ years, never missed a game for my team.

This year, I forgot they were even playing, do no know who is on their team and do not know if they won or lost, found out on a newspaper that they lost.

Do not give a single shit about them, fuck the entire NFL, I hope they all go broke as fuck.

alfredbester 6 points ago +6 / -0

I've been wearing the same lucky Cowboys jacket every winter since 1995. Haven't watched a minute of NFL this year. It feels bad sometimes, but then I think about those three people executed in the bar last week for being white and happy and I don't have any more doubts.

2
Slick_Willy 2 points ago +2 / -0

2 were white I think and 1 was black (talking to whites and executed for not being an ally probably)

In total honesty, I wouldn’t have stopped watching if the NFL had just taken the position right away that it wouldn’t stop players from kneeling during the anthem. I can honestly understand that as a business decision, if players don’t want to stand then let them throw their pre-game tantrums and don’t make a big deal about it. Honestly, I think people would have gotten bored of the whole thing and stopped paying attention by now.

But no, the gigantic shitweasels decided that they had to shove this shit front and center, and give the players a megaphone to blast their opinions at the viewers. I mean for fucks sake, I’m not watching the NFL to hear someone with a 3rd grade education and a sub 90 IQ tell me what to think of world events. The absolute final straw was having two separate national anthems. What a retard clownfuck of an idea.

I’m right there with you, I won’t watch another NFL game until the league acknowledges that it catastrophically fucked up, and commits to never falling for this woke horseshit again.

As a guest I got a kek out of an NFL injury list, most of injuries said KNEE. I haven't watched except for a few minutes at a party.

I think it's the National Fuckwhitepeople League

5
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 5 points ago +5 / -0

National Football Leftists. They are a Democrat political organization that plays football.

I have to confess - I watched one second so my wife could take a pic of me watching NFL to troll my father in law. It worked. Still feel bad for having it on my screen though :(

I so enjoyed watching that cuck in the past, losing a major playoff game. My hate of him started with him kissing his biceps.

1
Azarak 1 point ago +1 / -0

Same here. Not missing it at all. I have zero interest in watching over-paid whiney ball players cry oppression and disrespect the USA.

Last year I went to the Packers home opener, and this year I couldn't even tell you what starting players we have or what the current record is. And that is okay with me.

4
Deplorable223 4 points ago +4 / -0

Not 1 second in 5 years. I even turn the channel when sports comes on the news. Fuck those overpaid, over-hyped children

4
Somniac 4 points ago +4 / -0

I used to watch NFL and college ball nearly round the clock. Once the kneeling stuff started I cut off almost 100%. Would still catch a game every now and then. This year, not a second.

Have filled the void with a nice stack of books.

4
spezisacuckold 4 points ago +4 / -0

I honestly didn't even know it started. When was the first game?

3
bh506407 3 points ago +3 / -0

I haven’t watched them in years and nothing of value was lost from my life.

Seriously. The world goes on whether a team wins or loses or whatever. It’s a game.

And if they don’t wanna respect the flag or have common decency. Forget em.

So many constructive things one can do instead of watch the NFL.

3
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 3 points ago +3 / -0

I haven't watched more than a few minutes (and only because it was on at a bar) since 2013. These days I avoid it completely. Bunch of anti-American communist fucks.

3
Jack_Burton 3 points ago +3 / -0

I watched and cheered for the Saints since I was a kid.My parents were passionate fans all through the brown bag “Aints” years. We were jubilant as a canal street party when they won their first playoff game, over the moon when they won the Super Bowl.

After Drew Brees cucked for BLM in the face of his dead grandfather, I ripped the saints decal off of my truck and have not watched one second of the NFL. A voodoo curse be upon that whole team.

3

Came here for this comment. Wasn't disappointed.

3

Not one second, literally. It's been tough on Sunday evenings, I didn't realize how much watching the evening game had become part of my end of the weekend ritual.

No matter, that's all over now. Better things to do with my time, anyway.

4
Deplorable223 4 points ago +4 / -0

Perfect opportunity to start a new tradition with the Fam. Might I suggest skeet shooting?

Whenever NFL is on TV in the break room at my work, I unplug the TV every time.

Nobody is wasting my time at work by jacking off in the break room, watching shitty, woke sports, after I just gave them a task to complete.

Never watched sports to begin with. One less viewer from me, as long as that TV ain't on. 🥰

I watch highlights from my hometown team otherwise I wouldn’t have anything to discuss with my hippie dad. I will never give another 3hours of my Sunday to that God forsaken sports league.

I just wish I still had the Neilsen ratings box so that I could specifically deny them any ratings I used to give them.

I think I've watched a grand total of 4ish hours of NFL in my life (not including screen in front of me at bar)

2

Not one second, and won't. Not even Super Bowl.

2

2

2

No nfl, no ncaa football, definitely no nba. It was hard but I weened myself off sportsball the last couple yrs. i played football in college so its difficult to turn off the game I love, but its turned into BS political theater. It has however freed up considerable time to spend at the shooting range.

1
AccipiterQ [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

100% the same

2

I can't say that I haven't. I've watched some clips on the donald of you guys making fun of the wokeness. But I can say I haven't watched one play outside of that.

2

Not one second. I even felt a little awkward wearing the NFL team T shirt my mom got me a few years ago. I still wore it, for her, not that team I used to watch.

2

Idk what is this NFL you speak of? I have been glued to antifa bowling...

I don't even surf channels so I don't accidentally give them a 10th of a second. The program guide is a wonderful thing. Remember when you had to pull the TV guide out from under the phone book to see what was on? Then when you Can't find what you wanted to watch you see the TV guide is 2 weeks old...

Those were the days
