Great news. Make sure to explain to him that he needs to also vote R downballot.

We cannot let a single democrat hold any power in this country anymore.

Awesome news. Now get him to red-pill as many of his friends as possible. This is where things get juicy. Your dad is probably elbow to elbow with a bunch of D's who might be pissed off like him, and therefore on the fence.

It's your dad's job to yank them to our side of the fence. Tell him that's his penance for voting Side of Beef last time.

It's not enough to vote for Trump, it's your duty as someone who was convinced to use the same reasoning to explain it to others why Trump is not only the most viable pick, but the most legitimate candidate in awhile to dust the years and years of neglect off of this country. We coasted on empty promises for far too long!

No, I mean most politicians make some promises on the campaign trail, then ignore them once they're in DC. Trump's done what he set out and said he'd do.

I will add that we also need to root out the Democrats from school boards and other non-partisan local government positions. Democrats are always partisan and will subvert any institution they can with leftist ideology. Giving Democrats control of your city council or your school board leads to disaster. Look up candidates on social media you can usually tell immediately if they are a Democrat.

I agree. In these cases though they aren't running as Democrats, they are running as non-partisan for non-partisan positions. That's why it's so important to do the research on social media and elsewhere. The Democrats here in my town are attempting to take over our city council again this year. Unfortunately they used terrorism to intimidate one of the conservative candidates out of the race, so they have a good chance of doing it.

Democrats define partisan as anything they don't agree with, so they don't hesitate injecting climate change, gun control, and other leftist political issues into local government once they are in these "non-partisan" positions.

If you elected a Democrat for dog catcher they'd take all the dogs to PETA to be euthanized.

I agree, whew . . . scary and disappointing to run across one of these people when and where you weren't even thinking about it or expecting it. Out, out, out.

California is proudly adding illegal immigrants to their school boards. https://www.sfchronicle.com/politics/article/California-opens-state-boards-to-undocumented-14517946.php

And what will they do there? Ensure their illegal kids continue to get free education from legal citizens, of course.

How is this not a tort against legal citizens deserving an instantaneous class action lawsuit?

Yep. In my town the city council and mayor even abdicated control of the city to the City Manager, an unelected official. We had an unelected bureaucrat making all of the decisions for shutting down and fining local businesses.

Unreal. But then again, they will only do what we allow them to do. why have we all allowed them to do so much damage for so long?

This. This. A million times this. If we don't take back our schools we will continue to get more and more Marxists every year. The Dem teachers and school boards continue to fill our kids' minds with propaganda about how racist and unfair America is. Yet, in reality, every refugee in the world wants to come here.

Honestly I don't think we need to take back the schools, I think we need to eliminate them. Privatize the whole system and let parents choose where to send them, and encourage more home schooling/cul-de-sac scale community-based schooling.

It's not like public schools are doing a good job at education now, they fail to perform by basically every metric and in no way adequately prepare students for either the workforce or even basic life skills.

Wearyman 2 points ago +2 / -0

The problem is that we have a system that basically forces both parents to work if they want to live in that nice cul-de-sac. Taxes and regulations drive the cost of living and the price of housing and cars and life in general so high that both parents have to work.

I know, this is happening to us. I can't get a job in my field that pays enough to support a family on my own, even though a similarly trained guy from a generation ago could do it. Companies aren't willing to pay enough (Thanks H1B Visas!) and life is so expensive that we both have to work and home schooling or community schooling is impossible or out of reach price-wise.

We have to make MASSIVE systemic changes in our society away from the big-government massive tax and regs system we have to force prices to drop. Locking down ALL immigration of any kind for a Generation would also go a long way towards ensuring good wages. Once all of that is done, THEN we can afford to get rid of the public school system.

In the meantime a voucher system that has your tax money follow your kid would be a good stopgap solution to introduce competition into the system while we fix the other crap.

We have a loooooong way to go to undo 100 years of lefty fuckery.

A close family member was on the ticket last election. They were running as a Democrat (they are very lefty and have severe TDS) and asked me in person for my vote.

"No."

Both. They know my politics and it's absurd to think I would ever support anyone who would caucus with the Democrats

If their close family, you should expose their close secrets.

Add some of their most embarrassing moments to it too.

5
FluhanWu 5 points ago +5 / -0

No. You don’t do that to family. The close family member is incorrect. What you are suggesting is wrong. Nobody will be on OP’s side except for .win folks. IRL OP will be seen as the bad guy by local friends/family. One defective dem family member is not reason to disrupt the remainder of the family.

Your delusional mate. People do this all the time and get worshipped by Democrats. Right wing people will say to keep it in the family while Democrats are making millions dollar book deals on it. See Mary Trump, Kelly Anne’s daughter, some other libtard daughter who was saying don’t vote for my Dad he’s racist.
