I'm totally secular. Once I was out food shopping, looking at the people around me, and I just had this overwhelming realization that I am basically standing in a mental institution. I suddenly perceived all of the childhood trauma and ensuing madness. Neurotic behavior, filth, ugliness. Intentional ugliness. Degeneracy.

It's been years and that feeling hasn't gone away. I don't like going anywhere with people anymore.
