We had pretty much raised ourselves and weren’t even concerned with older generations. We were the latchkey kids that never had adults around and we rambled all over the neighborhood playing outside all day. It never would have crossed my mind to think negatively about other generations.

It's been the norm since at least the 60s. The boomers did it to their predecessors, the gen x-ers did it, millennials and gen Z are doing it now...
