I doubt Gen-X did that. We were too busy listening to Nirvana! lol

We had pretty much raised ourselves and weren’t even concerned with older generations. We were the latchkey kids that never had adults around and we rambled all over the neighborhood playing outside all day. It never would have crossed my mind to think negatively about other generations.
