I can't believe she did this. I followed her afterward and she ran into a store and told the men inside that someone outside was following her. They ran outside to defend the clearly distraught woman and I told them what she had just done, that it's all on video, and I'm sending it to the police. They cheered. We all said TRUMP2020. I followed her and she went into a dog grooming store. She clearly told the men in the store that someone was following her, because they ran out ready to defend her. I explained that I had just videotaped her destroying the Trump sign and was going to send the video to the police. We all shared Trump2020 cheers and wished each other a good evening.
I came home and called the Castle Rock police and spoke with a wonderful officer who said that she is probably going to post the video to all their social media to find out who did this. I really hope that happens!!!
It is still a crime. several of them, in fact.
criminal trespass, destruction of property/malicious mischief (rearranging traffic cones even qualifies), there's also the old standby, breach of the peace/disorderly conduct
All (gross) misdemeanors, but like juvenile justice, it's best to start them off slow and see if they get the message.
