I watch a bunch of his videos too, but rarely make it through an entire video. He rambles on and on to much, after 5 minutes you've gotten the meat of the subject, no need to watch another 20+.
Well, I don't mind that he does that, even if it's kind of a meme at this point - it lets people jump into his videos without context. You don't need to watch 12 other videos of his to figure out what the fuck he's talking about.
I love Tim. I tune into the IRL podcast every night, usually. I respect his integrity and desire not to go full partisan. Sometimes his videos can drag, but I dig beanie man’s work.
He said in the past that his analytics tell him that most of his views on videos are from unique viewers, and not people that regularly watch his content.
Of course if you regularly watch his content you’ve heard it all a million times, but probably half the people are hearing it for the first and only time.

Yeah I kinda agree. Some are better than others in that regard though. I think part of the payment for YT is based on length of vid.
Yeah, I think it helps in the algorithm if your videos are about 11 minutes or about 24 minutes. That’s why Tim pads everything out so much.
