She supports lockdowns, would listen to the globalist church, and generally sides with the government in cases where civil rights and personal freedoms are at stake.

Pick Lagoa.

Painted himself into a shit mess by needing a woman. We have comrade kagen and fidel abuela, is a vag required for the best pick? He should pick the best person, and if it is a white man, what a great "fuck you" to the Democrats.

I hate that he said it’ll be a woman. Why can’t he or she just be the right person for the job?!

I tried to look at all the women candidates in the list ... Lagoa looks a bit establishment / deep state but not at all ouvertly, amy camy bamy is globalist types she went against church goers in illinois during plandemic ...

i didn't go very deep for all of them, but the two that seemed interesting were allison eid and another chick who came from military. but the military chick still needs more experience it felt like. allison eid seems to be ... somewhat of a female kavanaugh types. she has pro 2nd credntials, and seemed well.

check out ballotopedia for these picks ... lagoa was supported heavily by the democrat fuckers, which probably means that she is something that they find they can work with. allison eid barely got any support from the islamoleftists, which probably means they are scared of her.

Allison Eid clerked for Clarence Thomas and has a good history of conservative judgements in her time on the Colorado Supreme Court. Still not sure who I would prefer but I don't think I would pick Barrett and definitely not lagoa.

RUSHING

Read this morning that Lagoa is off the list. Also saw a statement she made that was pro-abortion so she seem like the wrong pick.

There are plenty of other women on the list who would do a fine job.

Lagoa said in written answers to the Senate upon her nomination to the appeals court that she believes Roe v. Wade is “settled law” and that as an appellate court judge, she “would faithfully follow it as I would follow all precedent of the Supreme Court.”

Not pro abortion, pro court priority. She stated she didn't have authority as a lower court judge to override SC precedent.

Its also entirely possible that Lagoa said no to the offer.

1
Leatherwood 1 point ago +1 / -0

Unlikely. Why would she turn down an opportunity to sit on the highest court in the land?

Who wouldn't want the opportunity to be slandered, smeared, and blindly accused of all sorts of heinous activity? Who wouldn't want the opportunity to give their family the gift of death threats for accepting a job offer?

She might not think she's ready for the level of scrutiny and vitriol that'll be thrown at her. Look at how Kavanaugh and the rest are still reviled. Its a very personal choice based upon a set of circumstances that isn't public that may be having her say no. I just think that we should hold that out as a possibility, and be ready for a different selection to be made.

F That, tell Ted Cruz to identify as a woman and pick him! Sick of all this gender equality BS, women suck as leaders and suck at making objective decisions, more men in everything!

She could be but she’s for sure more aligned with our views that rbg. This is still a step in the right direction

But is Lagoa a better step in the right direction? Guess that's for GEOTUS to decide

Pick Lagoa. Cubans know something about the slippery slope into communism. This lady will always vote no to the lefties that try to take away our rights.

she doesnt support lockdown. it was explained very well in the other thread.

Justified the ruling using an old SC decision that was used as precedent for: -forced sterilization -forced vaccination -japanese internment

Lagoa is better for sure, but at this point, Barrett would still be 10000x better than RBG.
