Here is what the gameplan should be:

  1. Win House, Senate, presidency
  2. Nominate a new justice to "pack the court"
  3. Supreme Court declares packing the court unconstitutional
  4. Profit

We need 100 years of Trump and fire breathing conservative judges to unwind the damage.

There's shorter ways of doing things. Ask the first President how he managed.

You can't pre-pack the court. We nominate 10 justices, they nominate 100, we nominate 1000, pretty soon there are 100 million people on the court. A supreme court amendment is the only good answer. Perhaps one where every president gets two picks for a 20 year term. That way justices don't need to work until they die and we don't have to nominate 40 year olds.

There was already plenty of reasons before this. Just watching Adam Schiff run his Kangaroo Committee Soviet style is enough

Agree. Another possibility is the Doug Collins is proposing a Constitutional Amendment to limit the number of SCOTUS judges to 9. Not sure how successful he will be.

I don't see how they can recover, how can a political party function within a nation and government when it is completely opposed to everything. Everything they seemingly say and do is in their own interest and to undermine the nation...

...They don't even help their base, maybe the local Democrats do but not the party as a whole, they sure as hell don't help all Americans, half of us are just a resource to extract. Meanwhile, they claim Trump only helps his base when his orders and moves have universally helped everyone...

Democrats have signaled that it is okay to pack the court. Winner of this election gets to do it.

Why not both?

over 100. at least 107. it shouldn't take "fire-breathing" republicans to do that, but ok

2 for each state, plus 1 to break ties.

Defense and prosecution choose a subset (initially 3) to hear the case, allowing multiple cases to be heard simultaneously. Defense picks first. Cases can be appealed, increasing the selection until they need the entire court.

Maybe replace the nomination system with a state delegate or state elected? Or nominated by the state supreme courts?

before the early 20th century was certainly a better system of senator selection

We should try to pass an amendment limiting it to 9. They sperg out and it doesn't pass, so we go to pack the court anyway. They either let us pack the court or accept that they can't

I don’t think congress of senate or president has authority to expand Supreme Court. I could be wrong but I think that would require a convention of the states.

3

You are wrong. The Constitution gives Congress the authority to determine the number of Justices on the SC.

  1. A constitutional amendment setting the court at 9 justices.

That's the only safe way. If we pack, then they can just pack bigger.
