Florida never should have done this in the first place.

Agreed, and from what I understand it became a Florida constitutional amendment. 🤦‍♂️

Yeah it was a referendum for an amendment but sadly that goes by pure vote quantity and that means the blue major districts forced it on us - Miami/Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Tampa

It still bans murderers and sex offenders from voting. But yeah, violent felons like the current "peaceful protestors" can vote.

How is this even legal?

Trump needs to bring this up in every single press conference.

Sounds like reportable income. I hope the felons report this on their tax returns. Or maybe Bloomberg considered it a gift whereby his estate tax lawyers should think about it.

How is this not against federal election laws???

Bloomberg turned out to be a bigger POS than I thought was possible. He wants to get Florida for Biden so badly he will use any means to try.

Plot twist, then the majority of felons vote Trump.

TearofLys 5 points ago +5 / -0

He only paid fines for black or latino felons, so not likely.

DangleBarry 1 point ago +2 / -1

Probably, but a man can dream, right?

5
Staatssicherheit 5 points ago +5 / -0

Bloomberg is doing this because ex-felons are more likely to vote for Democrats.

Lebron is doing the same

Megadeth 3 points ago +3 / -0

Remember everyone ... The only reason the Rats pass these laws is to get their hands on more ballots. They know damn well felons aren't very likely to vote. The Democrats are more than happy to step in and vote for them. These people are beyond reproach and are lower than maggots on the food chain.

Damn, you have a point. 🤔

Dammit. Time to change that bullshit in 6 weeks.

Aluminoti 3 points ago +4 / -1

Bloomberg sucks and the rule sucks but I think this sounds worse than what it will actually be. I doubt that 32,000 felons will actually show up and vote. Some of them are probably incarcerated again, or have other issues such as addictions homelessness etc. Or they may not even be residents anymore.

All 32k names on that list will be harvested ballots

1
Megadeth 1 point ago +1 / -0

You understand why the Dems pass these bullshit laws. Felons are very unlikely to vote. Dems will simply fill out the ballots for them.

1
TychoDurandal 1 point ago +1 / -0

Of course I understand this. All 32k will be filled out on their behalf. Literally buying votes

AK1911 1 point ago +1 / -0

If they were responsible people, they wouldn’t be felons in the first place. They only thing they can be trusted to do is the wrong thing... Again.

AngryCitizen 2 points ago +2 / -0

Lolol

Drain the Swamp’s Wallet!

2
VetforTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

Doesnt mean they'll vote themselves but I'm sure those names are going on fake ballots.

FussBus 2 points ago +2 / -0

So that explains all the money donated for basil bonds and fees for criminals under blm....

1
Crucial8GB 1 point ago +1 / -0

No way any government will process those fines fast enough.

This explains the foundations supported by chairman lebron texting everyone.

Can we get comment from prominent Bloomberg supporter Clint Eastwood?

1
Trump2024 1 point ago +1 / -0

And sadly most of them will vote for the man that was primarily responsible for the laws that put them in jail.

1
Aluminoti 1 point ago +1 / -0

Is he paying restitution also? What if felon owes money to the victim?

Sounds like $windfall for Florida Court system. Thanks for the $!
