The currently unnamed team will hit the tarmac in 2021. Jordan will serve as the first Black majority owner of a NASCAR team in 60 years, while Hamlin will be a minority partner and will continue to drive for Joe Gibbs Racing.
More power to them. NASCAR sponsorship is about publicity, so they may prosper and never place in a race. Lets see how it plays out. ( I see NASCAR fans being the winners in the long run.)
And as anyone who knows Nascar knows, he'll fit right in finishing in the high 30's for the first couple of years as a startup team if they can retain sponsorship for that long.
