I wrote my capstone on the Russian Civil War and the multiple power struggles that were outside of the traditional white and red forces. Like Makhno, Czech legion and Kolchaks forces.
I know more about the Russian Civil War and the fallout than one person should. Autism is a hell of a drug. Bolshiviks were not particularly Jewish and were actually less Jewish than their contemporary socialist rivals.
I don't think in terms of identity politics so this doesn't matter to me. What matters to me is that Ruth did think in terms of identity politics. Or that, more importantly, those who would claim her legacy have expanded this sick idea into new territory.

I wouldn't characterize it like that. Some people are just assholes.
