She'd probably sustain some nice hood damage as well as a likely radiator&condensor puncture, potentially disabling her car while my hitch would likely be unscathed.

Unfortunately though with always having a tongue and ball installed: I have had to train myself not to walk so closely to the rear ends of trucks at work as well my own - I've been capped in the shin or knee too many times and those damn things hurt.
