I love your optimism. Go talk to an insurance agent. They have claims filed every hour over fender benders. I've seen it. I worked at a pizza place in college (not dominos, a real pizza and beer joint), and a delivery driver rolled forward from a complete stop at a light, into the car in front of them. The couple in the other car filed a $12k lawsuit after they found out he was at work during the incident, for bruises. The insurance company threw them a grand to go away. Happens all the time. It's not about "proving' anything, it's finding out how much the insurance will pay you to go away.
And, there are PLENTY of scummy lawyers who have no problems filing claims like that. For a bottom feeder lawyer, that's most of the clientele.
I went to one of these attorneys when I was younger on the recommendation of my gf’s litigious sister. I actually backed into a car at a stop sign but the attorney argued it was the other way around. He sent me to a quack doctor that could see that I was in terrible pain (I wasn’t) the moment I walked into his office. I went to physical therapy for months which consisted of back massages and rub downs and got a check for about $16k in the end.
If that hacker POS 4 Chan doxed the rage driver tik toks from the RBG meltdown that would be terrible. Some of them could clearly face moving violations for their brave resistance.
Perhaps the resistance should wear a bang over their heads when they make these vids.
Never underestimate the power of a sleepy attorney. I know someone who was in a similar accident and have to deal with the mess of an attorney claiming the pain and suffering bull crap from them simply going to the hospital to get checked out And found to have zero injuries as a result.
Some chick who worked in my building had a green light on a right hand and slammed her brakes on me and I bumped her POS shit. My insurance paid like $200 for her bumper, then she claimed injury and got $3k.
I had a witness behind me that swore she pulled a fast one and I still have an at fault with injury. Oh, and we all work for an insurance company.
Also, if the driver she rear ended was injured she just gave them in their attorneys a gold mine to go after her.
