That is absolutely horrible advice. Women don't 'come around', adult humans do not submit to being trained like dogs. I'd say that my experience tells me that it is far more likely that someone you're interested in, that wants a relationship with you, is far more likely to hide whatever parts of their views / personality they think you won't like and then reveal their true selves once they've locked you into a relationship. So make sure the person is a fit first, don't think you'll train them to be different than they are.
