Chin up. Truly respecting women is one of the purest ideals of Conservatism, but a lot of guys are damaged from past personal experiences, which is what you see on display.
A good man who loves and respects the women in his life will not only protect them, but also listen to them. A man who has been around enough women knows that there is no replacement for a woman's intuition, especially when it comes to the emotional world. A good man allows a woman to give input in the direction he goes, as well as sacrifices for the good of women in his life to the extent that it makes sense.
