That graphic shows a masked person, but Sweden is the land of no masks.

The US should have shutdown for 2-3 weeks in order to prepare. Then it should have transitioned to safe practice. That means quarantine elderly. Testing temps in Air-travel as well as restricting travel internationally.

Have people practice safe practices. Washing hands, don’t go out if sick, don’t go to work if sick.

In fact some of this should be done during flu seasons. People shouldn’t be sneezing in other peoples faces. Wash your hands. Don’t go to work sick.

Everyone was shitting on them hard for not giving a fuck. Denmark was the first to absolutely refuse to allow people to enter in from Sweden. Many countries in the EU are still imposing ridiculous travel restrictions on them because they won't bend the knee.

I have to say that I'm very surprised Sweden didn't enforce any restrictions. Some people I know that live there were pretty concerned about it early in the year, but I'm pretty jealous of how they handled this whole thing.

If the CDC estimate that for every diagnosed case there are 10 infections is close, then the US as a whole should be right at that 20% infection mark. It will be interesting to see if the daily number of reported cases drops off a couple of weeks from now.

Yeah I think 20% is about what you need to hit. This thing will be mostly gone by the end of October.

Anti-science!!!! Yes I know that the data indicate the approach worked, but Fauci says it won't work and Fauci Loves Hillary!

Any charts with numbers of cases should also include the number of deaths. That's really all that matters, who knows if anyone is testing well.

A friend of mine today said that Europe is considering a massive lockdown and so is Sweden. He listens to NPR.

This is great news but I still wonder what the long term implications of herd immunity are when dealing with a man made non-organic virus. The immune system is a wonderfully created system but how will it be affected by a manipulated fake virus. Jesus come quick!

I really think the US isn't far off from Sweden as far as herd immunity goes.

With the way the virus was stigmatized, there's a lot of people (mostly conservatives) who had it and didn't report it or go in to get tested because they didn't want to get grilled on where they had been and get the state/county shut down again.

Maybe this will make the Swedes proud of themselves again and reject the false song of globalism.

Meanwhile in Britain the words "herd immunity" have become a toxic phrase according to a news clip I saw a few days ago.
