I went to a restaurant with my family this week. I was the last to arrive and they all waited for me before going inside. Everyone had a mask on, and my mother pulls one out of her purse for me. I refuse to take it, and they tell me I wont be able to order my food if I dont put it on. I go in anyway, everybody orders but me and I walk up last. Girl behind the counter takes my order and says nothing about the masks. Felt pretty good showing them it's a mirage.
I feel like they should just segment restaurants like they did back in the day with smoking and non-smoking sections: masks and no-masks. That way all the sane people could hang out together and live life normally while the face diaper brigade can shiver together in some dark corner away from the light.

Had to order through a friend that was literally standing next to me and next to the waitress to get food. The waitress could hear everything I was saying as she was a few feet from me but wouldn't acknowledge me, because hey, no mask.
That my favorite thing; almost everyone pulls down the mask when they talk, which completely defeats any presumed purpose of wearing the mask, yet even the mask police don't seem to take issue with it. The whole mask thing is just ridiculous.

I sensed it coming up the aisle for me, so I quickly jumped onto one of those social distancing stickers, which instantly put an end to that crap.
