I was thinking rosin paper roll template, shiping tape the edges to keep them sharp, the letters look to be about 3 feet tall. Very possible for a DIY.

I was wondering about a line of spray paints with solenoid operated nozzles. A little bit of control logic and you can print your message just like an inkjet printer.

At low traffic with a professional looking crew early in the morning this is very doable.
