yeah, the difference is you can do that year round. In the northern areas you had to plan for months ahead of time to avoid starving. That weeds out the idiots over time.

It's just how it is - this isn't limited to blacks, populations near the equator shows similar.

skin color is only a factor because of sun exposure.

I still think the ability to do agriculture has more to do with the intelligence of a society than its hunting methods.

that still requires foresight. You need to plan ahead, by months and seasons. Same for food storage over winter. Very different mental skills needed that someone who can just grab whatever runs around.
