Get red pilled after the election in 2016 (I didn’t vote.) Lurk on the Donald, start seeing the bullshit the mainstream media censors Get somewhat alienated by very well meaning but brainwashed loved ones. You know, the ones who honestly want the best for humanity and have been brainwashed by the commies. Obtain Trauma. Go to counseling, etc to try to process/bury feelings about this. Stuff them deep down and try to move on.

You can't be conservative and for gay rights ... that's not how it works , go read a bible .Gays shouldn't be allowed around children , shouldn't be allowed to work with children in any matter, shouldn't be allowed to adopt children
Conservatives aren't neccesarily Christians anymore.
There is not a secular argument for the government not to recognize gay marriage.
I'd argue that the government should get out of the marriage game all together, but that is a different discussion.
I am sorry for what must have happened to you when you were a child. I'm sure it was horrible, because the emotional scars are so visible in your words and even in your screen name. Instead of painting others with such large paint strokes of what a conservative can and cannot be, maybe that time would be better spent in therapy dealing with your childhood trauma. I hope you find someone you can trust, and relieve yourself of those horrible memories. Peace.
