Nope, you did. The video states Kyle fired 4 shots at the pedo. The pedo had 4 wounds. After kyle ran, 3 shots were fired by someone else, my guess is they were 3 more shots into the air, because someone fired into the air seconds before the shooting as well. The only ambiguity is the tape says "it's not clear that all 4 wounds were caused by Kyle." All 4, because they can't gaurentee he landed every shot, but implying at least some of them absolutely were. But some landed, and that's what laid him out. They are saying that since 4 other shots were fired before and after the shooting, one of them may have hit pedo. Seems unlikely as hell, but maybe. Doesnt mean kyle didnt shoot the pedo, he did, tried to 4 times, and likely hit every shot.
You can't be sure the shots are not overlapping. Because Kyle was so close and has proven he is good under extreme duress it's likely he hit the pedo all four times, but it isn't certain because the ballistic testing as not been released. Which brings up another point. It is suspicious that testing hasn't been released so long after the event. It's reminiscent of Keith Ellison holding back the body cam proving Floyd resisted arrest.
