I hate to say it, but Japan really fucked over China in WWII. Their massacres in mostly Chiang Kai-Shek's areas of control were quite a bit worse than what Hitler was doing (and while not numerically greater than Stalin, were far more cruel than what Stalin was doing). Japan shouldn't send the CCP any reparations, in fact the CCP should pay Japan for making it so easy for them to take over, but Japan needs to acknowledge that the attrocities happened.
