I don't think I'd willingly ever vote to be taxed 'more' -- but Florida still gets you with other sales taxes on consumables. Does it equal income tax? Probably not -- but I may be more on board with it, if it was more of a replacement for other taxes.
Why pay income tax if they are just going to give it to those who have no income. Pisses me off in my state, pay federal income tax, 5% state income tax, property tax, vehicle tax, then pay 9% sales tax on all purchases while some ghetto baby factory swipes their Food card and pays no sales tax on the food but i pay 9%. They should either tax the sale of goods or income not both. It is a bull shit way to take more money from the working and give it to corporations and those who are "incorporated".
