Admittedly white tuna is not the best. a high quality canned yellowfin is much better...
but honestly I can't justify premium canned tuna which runs up to $4 a can, when you can easily buy good fresh tuna for about $8 a pound..$6 or less on good sale
Skipjack doesn't look as good, but is much better for you in terms of mercury content. If you're looking for good, cheap protein sources and stalking up on albacore, consider skipjack instead, especially if you're having more than a couple cans a week.

This albacore at best is $1, usually it's $2
